My name is Bernd Mayr, born in 1954. My path into art began with photography — an early playground where I explored light, framing, and perspective. Years later, a Christmas gift from my family changed everything: an easel, brushes, paper, and colors. From that moment on, I started to give shape to the images already living in my mind.

Since then, I’ve been painting, experimenting, and evolving day by day. My work is not bound to a school or rigid style. Instead, it grows from spontaneity, from the freedom to wander between forms of expression, techniques, and materials.

In this blog, I will share glimpses into my journey — inspirations drawn from nature, my passion for poetry and mountain biking. Since these worlds are constantly feeding my art, this is the place to bring them onto the stage.
