die zweifel, ob der fülle auf dem papier,

der moment, wo du aufhören sollst,

das zeichen, das den dir wertvollsten teil durchkreuzt,

das endgültige loslassen, weil es ein ende braucht,

der augenblick, an dem du mit abstand, das bild neu siehst,

WIE ICH SO ARBEITE

the great white,

the endlessness of the sheet,

the brittleness of the first thought,

the flood of marks after the first stroke,

the doubts about the abundance on the paper,

the moment when you're supposed to stop painting,

the mark that ruins the part that's the most precious to you,

the final letting go, because the painting needs to be finished,

the moment when you see the picture anew somewhat detached,
